Art Salon Chinatown is a program series of exhibitions and accompanying artist talks and other events, organized by curators Sonia Mak and Shervin Shahbazi.
Art Salon Chinatown is located in Los Angeles Chinatown’s historic Central Plaza, with the primary focus of showcasing contemporary Chinese American and Asian American artists.
Art Salon Chinatown is dedicated to presenting Asian American artists, as they remain underrepresented in the Los Angeles arts community, and drawing attention to the history of New Chinatown (established 1938). Photo to the right is our original location next door!
