Please join us as Sharon Mizota leads a conversation with the artists of Made in Asian America: Jennifer Ling Datchuk, Malisa Humphrey, Phung Huynh, Việt Lê, Sandra Low, Yong Soon Min, Maryrose Mendoza and Yoshie Sakai.
Sharon Mizota is an art critic and archivist whose writing appears regularly in the Los Angeles Times. She has also written for Artforum, X-TRA Contemporary Art Quarterly, ARTNews and other publications. She is a recipient of a 2007 Creative Capital/Warhol Foundation Arts Writers’ Grant and is a coauthor of the award-winning book, Fresh Talk/Daring Gazes: Conversations on Asian American Art (2003).
The conversation will take place on Saturday June 29th at 3 pm, and will be followed by a reception from 4-6 pm.
